Introduction

We had the pleasure of recreating Nigella’s botanical boutique brand with the aim to change the way humans think about flowers and the traditions of flower arrangement. Whether it’s a bouquet for the working professional or art installations for Google and Facebook, Nigella brings Earth back into a city of glass and metal. This new and vibrant company needed a brand that exudes professionalism and creativity that was so apparent in their flower arrangements.

When you go into a flower shop, there’s a certain expectation of what it’ll look like. More often than not, the only beautiful thing inside are the actual flowers. Makes sense. But we decided to push this experience around the flowers just as elegant.

Solution

Flowers are the silent carriers of humans stories. They set up a non-verbal communication channel that helps to convey a particular emotional state and mood from the giver to the receiver. We decided our branding needed to do the same. Nigella’s brand feels just as thoughtful and caring as their product.
