Cookies

This policy explains what cookies are, which ones we use on bornandbredbrand.com, and how you can control them. It sits alongside our Privacy Policy, which covers how we handle personal data more broadly.
What cookies are
Cookies are small text files a website stores on your device. They let a site remember your choices, understand how people move through its pages, and measure whether marketing is working. Some are set by us, and some are set by services we use, like Google and HubSpot.
We also use related technologies such as pixels, tags, and local storage. When we say “cookies” below, we mean all of them.
Your choices come first
When you first visit, you’ll see a banner with three options: Allow All, Reject, and Preferences. Only essential cookies load before you choose.
Under Preferences you can turn Analytics and Marketing on or off independently. Essential cookies can’t be disabled, because the site doesn’t function without them. You can change your mind at any time by reopening the cookie settings from the banner, and you can clear or block cookies in your browser settings.
The three categories we use
Essential
Required for the site to work. These remember your cookie preferences so you’re not asked on every page, keep forms and page navigation functioning, and support security and load balancing through Cloudflare.
These load whether or not you accept anything else, because without them the site can’t do its job.
Analytics
These tell us how the site is actually used, so we can improve it. They’re off until you allow them.
- Google Analytics 4, delivered through Google Tag Manager. Measures pages viewed, time on page, approximate location, device and browser type, and how you arrived. Google Analytics data is collected in a form that doesn’t identify you personally.
- Cloudflare Insights. Basic performance and page-load measurement.
Marketing
These help us understand which marketing works and let us follow up when you ask us to. They’re off until you allow them.
- HubSpot. Our CRM and marketing platform. Recognizes you across visits, links a form submission to the pages you looked at first, and lets our team pick up a conversation where it left off. If you fill in a form, this is how it reaches us.
- Google Ads conversion tracking. Tells us whether an ad led to an inquiry.
Third parties
Some cookies are set by services we use rather than by us directly. Those companies handle that data under their own policies:
- Google Privacy Policy
- HubSpot Privacy Policy
- Cloudflare Privacy Policy
- Vimeo Privacy Policy, which applies to the video players embedded on our pages
If you turn cookies off
Rejecting Analytics and Marketing won’t stop you using the site. Pages, case studies and video all work normally. What changes is that we lose the ability to see how the site is performing, and if you submit a form we won’t have the context of what you were looking at beforehand.
Your rights
If you’re in the EU or UK, the GDPR gives you rights over your personal data, including access, correction, deletion, and objecting to processing. If you’re in California, the CCPA gives you the right to know what we collect, to request deletion, and to opt out of any sale of personal information. We don’t sell personal information.
Our Privacy Policy sets out how to exercise those rights.
Changes
We’ll update this policy when our tools change, and we’ll change the date at the top when we do.
